Public Statement on Recent Axmed Security Incident

In August 2025 Axmed identified a data security incident affecting its U.S. subsidiary, AxmedRx PBC, which experienced a data security incident affecting a limited segment of its information technology environment. Axmed has taken immediate steps to secure its systems and has notified the relevant authorities.

Our forensic investigation to date indicates that the threat actor's primary objective was to initiate fraudulent payment instructions for the benefit of unauthorized third parties.

At present and after a cybersecurity assessment on our infrastructure, there is no indication that our Axmed Marketplace and related product offerings have been affected by this incident or that data has been exfiltrated from the systems.

External collaborators are notified via a public announcement, and those confirmed as directly affected will receive individual communications.

In parallel, we are further strengthening our already robust IT security, reviewing every process, and improving accountability in how we operate. Axmed remains committed to earning and keeping the trust of our employees, clients, and partners every day.

At this time, we do not believe that clients or partners need to take specific action. However, as a precaution, we recommend that you remain alert to suspicious messages or payment instructions that appear to come from Axmed. Please verify unusual requests directly with your Axmed contact before proceeding.
